Their music revolves around gothic rock and Sean calls it “artistically limitating.”

Brennan is not only known for his music, but he also known for his support towards animal rights, pro-environment and human rights issues and a lot of other issues like liberal politics and control of media. His music revolves around romantic themes which are often very personal and emotional. The lyrics are presented with a with that often appears gloomy; like in his song “Your Best Nightmare.”

His focus on songs in the 1990’s was towards the political aspects, one such song which is created in the year 1991 was “Revenge.” He even introduced Adolf Hitler in his sound clip. Sean and his band members have performed live in concerts singing songs that revolve around politics. Songs like "Feeling Fascist?", "The Pain Looks Good on You", "America's a Fucking Disease", and many other songs.

It was during this time that Sean started creating more music that brought in elements of darkwave and industrial rock. Their album Oddities which was third release featured a track called “Sally’s Song” which was from the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” This was one CD which was quite different from the other releases as it featured an alternative mix of acoustic and ethereal songs along with a few new tracks.
